How do you like the idea of an iPhone back its cord? You might want to take a glance at the Desk Phone Dock. Needless to say, it allows you to insert your iPhone and use a real corded handset to make calls. Its design and style is actually in line with Apple so it won’t look outdated with the latest in thing.

Rumor that is Samsung will eventually announce a version of the Galaxy S i9000 with a full QWERTY keyboard dubbed as Samsung Galaxy S Pro.

Apparently, others are saying that the Galaxy S Pro look a lot like the Galaxy S. Feature-wise, the Samsung Galaxy S Pro will more likely offer the same treats as what Galaxy S offers. This includes a 4 inch WVGA Super AMOLED touchscreen display, powered by 1 GHz Cortex A8 processor, Wi-Fi support, GPS, 5MP camera and Android 2.1.

While Summer time is fast approaching, this season will be a lot hotter with Samsung Galaxy S Pro at hand.

We are not sure if rumors are all true that Verizon Wireless Motorola DROID owners will begin getting their DROID Android 2.1 updates now. As of to date, one thousand Droid owners have probably received an update notification, while other 9,000 owners will be receiving theirs too soon.

Of course, as expected, the Moto Droid’s new software (version AP:ESE81/BP: C_01.3E.03P) will definitely bring several improvements and additional features, including Pinch-to-zoom for the Browser, Maps, and Gallery, Yahoo Mail support, Speech-to-text, 3D layout for the Gallery application, and Google Goggles.

This Android 2.1 software update will be made over the air (OTA) but kindly bear in mind that you cannot use your device…

According to the latest Nielsen report by Roger Entner, senior Senior Vice President, Research and Insights, Telecom Practice, smartphones will outsell feature phones in 2011 in the U.S.

It has been found that 21 percent of U.S. subscribers were using a smartphone in Q4 2009, up from 19 percent the quarter before and from 14 percent in the fourth quarter of 2008. 45 percent of those that participated in a Nielsen survey said that they would purchase a smartphone next.

Nielsen predicts that the U.S. smartphone market will overtake the feature phone market around the third quarter of 2011, and the analyics company attributes the growth to the falling prices and increasing…
