The 8520 is the upgraded version of the old Curve 8320 that was announced nearly two years ago. It has not come to a higher level as you would expect it to be.

This phone’s features have remained almost the same as the older version which is quite disappointing. The 8520 has the usual QWERTY keyboard, but replaces the trackball with a tiny trackpad. It could be probably be a useful improvement, although perhaps many consumers would expect a touchscreen these days.
