Hackers! Panic attack! No, not this time. Hackers have managed to hack the iPhone SMS database on the Apple iPhone for only twenty seconds. These two gentlemen namely Vincenzo Iozzo and Ralf Philipp Weinmann happened to top at the CanSecWest Pwn2Own hacking contest.

A new exploit has been found in Safari, allowing hackers to rip the entire catalog of text messages (received and sent, deleted or not) from your iPhone for their perusal and personal privacy perversions. According to CTIA’s semi-annual Wireless Industry Survey, the study revealed that wireless data service revenues in the second half of 2009 increased $22 billion from the second half of 2008, a 25.7 percent increase.

Verizon to Launch Skype Mobile for Smartphones on March 25

US mobile carrier, Verizon Wireless is keeping its promise as it will launch its Skype mobile application on Thursday, March 25th. The service will be available on nine smartphones including BlackBerry Storm 9530, BlackBerry Storm2 9550, BlackBerry Curve 8330, BlackBerry Curve 8530, BlackBerry 8830 World Edition, BlackBerry Tour 9630, Motorola Droid, HTC Droid Eris and Motorola Devour.

This Verizon’s Skype mobile application will allow users to make and receive Skype to Skype calls worldwide, chat with other Skype users, and call international phone numbers at low rates.
