According to CTIA’s semi-annual Wireless Industry Survey, the study revealed that wireless data service revenues in the second half of 2009 increased $22 billion from the second half of 2008, a 25.7 percent increase.

US mobile carrier, Verizon Wireless is keeping its promise as it will launch its Skype mobile application on Thursday, March 25th. The service will be available on nine smartphones including BlackBerry Storm 9530, BlackBerry Storm2 9550, BlackBerry Curve 8330, BlackBerry Curve 8530, BlackBerry 8830 World Edition, BlackBerry Tour 9630, Motorola Droid, HTC Droid Eris and Motorola Devour.
