Announced during MWC 2010 only in a black color, the HTC Desire actually has a silver version too. This move most probably takes into consideration your whole wardrobe.

The silver HTC Desire has recently appeared over at the XDA forums, and we must say it looks a way better. The HTC Desire will be broadly available to customers across major European and Asian markets in 2nd quarter, this April to be exact. It comes with a 3.7 AMOLED WVGA display, 1GHz Snapdragon processor, 5 megapixel camera with LED flash, bluetooth, WiFi and GPS. This might also be released in the US by AT&T.

For sure a lot of Android fans will giggle in excitement when we say that Google is offering about 30,000 applications. We know, that’s a lot in store for all for you. It is undeniably because of the fast growing Google’s Android Market.

Google haven’t announced this exact number yet but a Google representative just confirmed it. Nevertheless, there were actually only 16,000 applications before the news came out three months after an AndroLib report – meaning about 14,000 apps were added in the last three months.

Therefore, about 60% of the applications are now available in Android Market for free while about 40% are paid.

It seems that top phone makers, Nokia and Apple’s trial case regarding patents won’t be over anytime soon, not to mention that its first actual trial will begin only in 2012, when a U.S. court should decide which company infringed which patents.

According to an analyst, Nokia is seeking payment of up to 1 billion euros ($1.36 billion).This Finnish phone maker filed a suit against Apple back in October last year, claiming that the Cupertino company’s iPhone infringes 10 of its patents. Apple responded with a countersuit last December, saying that it’s actually Nokia which infringes 13 of its patents.
